Pros

Free sodas in the fridge. That's it.

Cons

Where to start?.........they lie. Constantly. Should have seen the red flags before accepting the job. They initially offered one salary and then offered a much lower salary later and wouldn't budge, because of "budget limitations". I was in a bad situation and needed a paycheck, so I made a hurried mistake. After starting, I saw them do the same thing to others. Benefits are laughable. Minimal PTO and high insurance premiums are all you get. Oh, and free sodas in the fridge. Commission structure is far more restricting and less rewarding than any competitor in the area. They encourage lying to clients to make a sale. They encourage lying to consultants to make a placement. They lie to their own employees about why they are being "let go," saying that they are shutting down that division of the company rather than admitting they don't want that employee. You can do your job perfectly, but management wants things done their way. When you do your job exactly as they tell you to do it, you fail. Management's methods are flawed, but you get blamed for poor results. They're a make-money-at-any-cost firm, including crossing many, many ethical lines. They slip stifling clauses into every contract hoping no one will notice (ex.The employment agreement has a clause that says if you don't give a full month's notice before leaving, you agree to be paid minimum wage for the last 2 weeks of work, regardless of your previous wage level or exempt/non exempt status.) HR docks pay of salaried employees for being a few minutes late--even if it's because you had to drop you kids off at day care. I understand the principle, but what about basic decency and compassion? Can't I just stay a bit late? Consultants are given a contract (prior to interview or knowing anything about the job, mind you), that they will take a job without question if they are offered it within 3 days of the interview. What if they hate the environment at the client site? What if the job is beyond or below their skill level? Turnover is extreme. Multiple people left or were terminated while I was there. Only the executives had been there longer than a year--and why do you need 3 executives in an office of ~8? Management doesn't know what they want the company to be--are they a consulting firm? Staff augmentation? "Big Data" solutions? The company goals changed weekly. If you can't figure out what you want to be, how can you expect your employees to achieve it?
