Pros
There are people in Relex who want to develop themselves and build something. Some developers are lucky to be able to create due to reasonable management. Salaries vary. Some are complaining about foreign workers having lower salaries, but I had what I find satisfying for myself (even thought I’ve been told that my salary is below the range for my position). If you want to study or learn technology, Relex due to widespread lay back management style is a place to certify without limits. If you are looking for a quiet bay to heal your wounds or have a “work life balance” :) - Relex is a place to go. Besides few enthusiasts, the overall passiveness will help you to stay relaxed.
Cons
Some say you can’t enter the same river twice. Right, when it’s river. Relex is not a river, more like a stale lake. No, a bog. A bog where fresh ideas and passion often are not appreciated. You would say I haven’t tried enough. I tried to tell about the problems and offer solutions. It didn’t work. When you enter Relex they tell you about their values, a lot. Like in every second meeting. When it comes to really live according to their values, everything else takes the precedence. You will experience hatred, extreme moodiness, disrespect to experience, pitiful personal interests, tough laziness, passive aggressiveness, a lot of ignorance. When you rise your voice against even some of that they will blame you in creating an unsafe environment. You will not hear it on many prior 1-on-1s, HR will never contact you. No proof or particular case will be provided on your last “execution” meeting, just a yesterday’s opinion of a couple of former opponents will be called “team’s opinion” and that’s it. You are gone. Right after you wrote a honest review to your manager on a company’s review platform. HR will not try to resolve anything, or understand, you will see them once and they will be firmly on blaming management’s side. I haven’t seen anything like this in my rather long career.
