Pros
There are still some good people left there and generally the clients are good people to deal with. There was a good work/life balance but this has been changed and not nearly as good as it used to be.
Cons
Where to start? Since being bought over 3+ years ago the old culture of Brewins has been eroded and it is now just a big global bank who don’t care about their employees or clients. The culture is becoming toxic at all levels with people openly saying they are, or want to leave. Management don’t care, repeat the same messages which are meaningless and leave people even less interested in doing the work. The processes have become a joke and it is nearly impossible to get anything done in a decent timescale. There have been no pay rises for years and like others have said management keep saying they care about staff wellbeing but everyone knows it’s a lie. It’s a real shame to see what once was a decent going business when it was a PLC become such a basket case.
