I worked at Payoneer for more than 4 years and while the company has some positive aspects, my experience was overshadowed by a toxic team environment driven by poor leadership. My direct manager created a hostile atmosphere characterized by passive-aggressive communication, lack of support, and frequent micromanagement. Instead of fostering growth and collaboration, the team culture thrived on fear, blame, and negativity. Feedback was rarely constructive and often felt personal, which deeply impacted morale and motivation.
It’s disappointing because the company itself has potential, but unless serious attention is given to team dynamics and management style—especially in certain departments—it’s difficult to truly thrive here.
