Pros

Not sure I found any pros other than they paid a competitive salary.

Cons

- Benefits are severely lacking for MDs/DOs/PhDs/PsyDs, etc. - Vision and Mission Statement are lovely to read but they do not live up to them - Disorganized and lacking any formal structure for onboarding and training - Communication is slow or does not happen at all I left my position due to the major ethical concerns and the absolute lack of leadership. - Unprofessional in all aspects of patient care, charting, etc. - There is zero accountability for when things go awry - just a lot of half-hearted apologies - No crisis mgmt for patients or staff - literally no plan whatsoever - Money driven - not patient care outcomes driven

Pros

Good pay with benefits. Positive inclusive environment with overall good multidiscipline team relationships with benefit of in-house psychiatry. No micromanaging and clear defined expectations.

Cons

Heavy client facing hour caseloads that could lead to burnout. Despite generous PTO, there is pressure to have clinical schedule set 3+ months in advance making it difficult to balance personal needs. Medical practice culture is put onto therapists.

Pros

- Helping people who are struggling - Being a part of a field that's revolutionizing psychiatry - Good middle management

Cons

- Insane workload (there's never getting caught up - you always have stuff to be doing which is stressful) - The management they brought in to "correct" the company had more bad than good consequences. I'm unsure if they are still in their position, but when I worked there, they were new (like me) but very micro-managing and did not understand how a good employee/employer relationship worked. The middle management was very nice and approachable. - They do not actually believe their company values (the owner visited us and mentioned how they'd love if we could embrace a company culture that was more accepting about employees own experiences with the drugs we run clinical trials on); people who spoke about their use were discriminated against. - I took a brief break under the agreed upon notion that I'd return in a week after regaining my health. I was let go halfway through this "mental health break". I could tell my supervisor cared about me, HR absolutely did not - they simply lied to my face to avoid any potential "crash out" an employee would have if being let go under my circumstances. That experience has forever hurt my trust in HR/companies that only see people as liabilities or money-makers.
