Other departments will have more concerns and get disturb by them. Unless you already understand the job, then they will let you try the role, if not will never been promoted.

Very interesting field and technical challenges. The technical staff was extremely competent and overall the team had a great "whatever it takes" attitude.

The industry has changed a lot in the last year and the directors and management should have been able to recognize this. In fact, the whole business model needed to be readdressed sooner.
