Steady pay with opportunity for overtime

Cons

Employees become apathetic under management that keeps doors closed or swoops in to pick at flaws. No support or training, or even a real onboarding process. Should an employee care about the company, speak up about areas for improvement in process or environment, they will be met with closed doors, misdirection, and apathy from management. Speaking up is also an invitation for management to find or create a reason to fire them with no warning. Every month ends with a "crunch" that doesn't belong in manufacturing, as management suddenly remembers that they have a job and comes down on the heads of every employee to turn out products and parts as fast as possible, quality aside. Advice to employees: care as little as possible, keep your head down and mouth shut.
