Pros
M/A/R/C is a well respected company with 50+ years in the market research industry. People are very knowledgeable and is a great place to learn about market research and build a good foundation. Very hands off management style so you aren't micromanaged.
Cons
Since several long-tenured leaders have retired, the culture has gone down-hill fast. Managers are very passive aggressive and will put down anyone that they feel threatens their authority. There is a lot of in-fighting between departments and resources are often hoarded so they don't have to be shared with other teams. There is virtually no organized training program or career path so it is difficult to stay motivated when there aren't clear goals to strive for. Work life balance is also non-existent. Turnover was high and people were asked to take on additional work with no support. Worked many long days and into the night and when concerns were brought up to management the response was "Everyone is dealing with it", which somehow in their minds made it ok. They will squeeze you for every ounce of productivity you have and not respect your personal boundaries. Will try to tell you that you couldn't do better elsewhere.
