Pros

Lighthouse is an ethical practice that reinforces the importance of being an ethically sound provider. The support I have been provided since starting is better than I've ever received. There is opportunity to grow within your skill set as there are voluntary trainings monthly and supervisors are readily available with clinical support. The CEO is open and accessible when needed and keeps true to her word. Lighthouse isn't a place that says what needs to be said to get you in the door. They are a place that is honest and wants to put qualified professionals in the field.

Cons

Mental health can be a challenging field so have a good work life balance is key.

Pros

The work itself is meaningful. It can be tough sometimes, sure, but you always feel like what you’re doing matters. And the team vibe helps a lot—we share ideas, check in on each other, and celebrate wins, big or small. Supervisors are willing to help, admin team is supportive, and CEO is very involved which you don't see often. Benefit package is above average and caseloads are manageable.

Cons

Mental health work can be challenging in itself.

Cons

Not paid for all the time worked and unrealistic work/life balance expectations with little to no support from supervisors as well as owner.
