Business development department is completely clueless. No structure or processes. NO CRM! just call call random numbers and hand out leaflets in the vicinity. Everyone still uses excel spreadsheets and emails to track things, so much room for human error you spend half the day backtracking or dragged into other peoples jobs. How a company that makes a billion a year doesn’t want to invest in a CRM system for the business development department is insane. Sales are done by printing out a paper, filling it in by hand and then scanning it to admin and then repeating that process 3-4 times. Regional business manager is unhelpful and spends most of his time doing admin.
