Insuresoft internships have a strong human touch. They're meant to teach and give interns a good start in the field. It's easy to get to know lots of people in the company, and they are supportive and encouraging.
Cons
They have low expectations, especially for network administration. We were in the process of moving many things to the cloud, so towards the end of the job I had little to do.

Pros
Immediate boss and team were fantastic and getting to work from home is great. I would recommend Insuresoft for people looking to add software experience to their resume.
Cons
The pay is well below industry standard. They also talk a lot about getting to advance/move around within the company but that just doesn't happen. A few specific people on the leadership team are extremely difficult to deal with and everybody knows it but nothing is done. Time is micromanaged to the point it feels like you can't ask your coworker about their weekend without having to stay late to make up that time. Upon finding a new job opportunity (at almost double the pay) I was offered an "Incentive" to stay at Insuresoft that included one year of training to MAYBE move into a new role if one was ever available. No pay increase was offered.
