Pros
I've worked at IC for years now and have had such a positive experience, from the mentors and colleagues, to the general perks of working in the Influencer/marketing space (access to events, free products/samples, etc). This is a super small company, so your voice and opinion holds weight at 'big table' discussions. It's nice to feel that you can speak about your concerns or provide suggestions on changes on a programmatic level. I also appreciate the opportunity for growth and ownership. This company is tight-knit, with a super friendly work culture. Pre-COVID we loved our in office celebrations - birthdays, new folks onboarding, work anniversaries, company summits you name it. Now being remote, we focus on ways to stay close like Zoom happy hours and IC branded swag.
Cons
I wouldn't say there's any major downsides: - This is a marketing agency - fast paced, with client emergencies that can pop through anytime during the day (and sometimes night!). Not a huge con, but be aware that there's an expectation of availability, as with the majority of agencies. - With the ongoing COVID-19 issue, all work is remote, so if you're someone who needs in-person interaction or constant verbal communication, this probably isn't the job for you.
