Offered high salaries to attract top marketing talent from existing jobs just to lay them off within 2-3 months if immediate sales goals were not reached
Cons
- Was recruited aggressively by TA team only to be laid off less than 3 months later
- CEO is completely lost, has no idea how the US market works
- Product is awful and leadership has no interest in improving it
- Unrealistic expectations and total lack of understand of how partnerships & strategy work
- Essentially expected huge sales numbers within 1 month of launching a partnership program
- not given any internal resources to get job done
- Was told about who specifically was going to be laid off and then warned that If numbers don't improve, I could be next (was laid off 2 weeks later)
- CEO didn't lay anyone off, hid, and let HR deliver news
- Constant layoffs followed by big hiring classes, rinse/repeat
- Provide your own equipment
- Pretty positive that this is some sort of data gathering operation
- Investors were constantly referenced but there is no record anywhere of Hirect receiving investment (from anywhere in the US)
- Zero monetization
- Will not invest in technology, people, or any sort of marketing
- Easily the worst company I have worked for and regret ever entertaining their offer
- I am impressed with their ability not to fold completely so far
- Leadership does not know how to:
Lead, hire, retain, market, sell, build products, understand the US market, or run a business in general
