Pros

-WFH -no to many benefits

Cons

Working at Hatchworks through Ment was a deeply disappointing experience. My technical lead repeatedly undermined me: removing my responsibilities, giving me orders outside of agreed meetings, contradicting me constantly, and treating me as if I should only “follow orders like a robot.” When I escalated the situation to Hatchworks, I discovered that nothing could be done because the technical lead had strong ties with the client’s manager. Instead of resolving the issue, I was dismissed after confronting the technical lead. This company tolerates favoritism and unhealthy power dynamics, leaving employees without real protection. My advice: be very cautious if you consider joining Hatchworks through Ment.

Pros

Strong marketing team that knows how to generate buzz. Opportunity to gain exposure if you’re directly tied to sales or marketing initiatives.

Cons

- Leadership tends to exploit talent for short-term sales gains and quickly discards people afterward. - Lack of effective management and direction for software teams. - Internal divisions, animosity, and finger-pointing instead of accountability. - Toxic culture that discourages collaboration and long-term growth.
