Pros
I still believe that the quality of some of the educational products is good, even though my work experience was not.
Cons
Where to begin - I was hired in October with the plan to do three days a week of coaching. I delivered zero PDs and Coaching sessions in 8 months. All I did was train for no actual work. I had a manager listed who I did not speak to once over the 8 months that I worked there. She would direct me to a coaching director who rarely could answer a question. I did spend hours upon hours training though but had no ability to actually apply what I was learning. I just kept getting told that I could go to more meetings and add more training to get certified in more areas. I did have many teachers that I was supposed to coach as part of the "Coachly" platform. I communicated with all my teachers each week spending about 4 hours to draft emails but was only allowed to get paid for one. All of this to get maybe one teacher per week to sign up to meet with me. I have been working as an independent consultant for 13 years for a variety of educational companies and I had high hopes for HMH, but unfortunately this was by far my worst experience. Shame on you HMH for hiring me to deliver coaching and then not giving me one single training or coaching day to deliver.
