Pros
Not a ton of pros, good exposure to the industry and how it works
Cons
--Poor management, went through 5 General Managers in the span of 1.5 years. Not only that, but there was no communication from Group 1 to management about the trainee program, the third manager I dealt with thought I was a college intern and had me manning the front desk --Bait and switch on management training program, they provide very little guidance or check-ins throughout the program. --Program creates jealousy and animosity among coworkers. You are a salaried employee who will be asked to perform the roles of a service writer and sales person. So you will be taking commissioned sales away from the employees who rely on that commission for their pay, so it is a balancing act between trying to prevent coworkers from getting mad at you for stealing work and keeping your metrics high so management is happy --They will make you work 60-70 hours or more during the sales rotation --Horrific sexism, racism, and childish behavior from coworkers and management
