Pros

Remote Nothing Else it's a bad company

Cons

Extremely low pay thar doesn't even cover minimum wage. The expectation that you write articles on new games that cost more than you would receive. Insists upon no AI but still looks like it uses AI. Goalpost moving. Terrible "training" written by someone who has no idea how to train. Terrible trainers. Writers made to do an editors job. Terrible editors and managers.

Pros

Remote work At least it's a place to write about video games Entry-level job if you want to have a company name on your résumé

Cons

It's a content mill: quantity over quality, and the pay is not good Availability of articles on our portal is hit-or-miss (though that's to be expected in this industry) Not a ton of opportunities for career growth: even if you're at GR a while and do a good job, it doesn't seem like freelancers have many chances to earn a full-time/staff writer or editorial job. Lack of creative freedom/writer's voice when writing articles It feels like more time is spent formatting and following very strict guidelines than actually writing Editors seem to be at odds as to what the guidelines are, because they offer contradictory feedback on articles
