Laid back work culture with lots of schedule flexibility. Very friendly staff.

The friendly and laid back environment sometimes allows people who are not healthy for the team to stick around too long because people don't want to be mean to them.

Lots of interesting analytical techniques, they've stuffed just about everything they can think of into the space available. If you are looking for experience there is about something for everyone. Solid QA and documentation techniques usually followed. Very flexible work schedule.

Management is often dismissive of employee concerns and suggestions. Very reluctant to update facilities and internal processes. General attitude among staff is very negative and there is a lack of professionalism that was surprising. Lack of structure and set schedule that can interfere with work flow. Management's solution to most problems is to tell everyone to work more overtime, which is great if you want overtime, but not so much for the health of the lab in the long run. Technology infrastructure is very outdated. Lack of communication between management and lab staff concerning incoming or outgoing clients that could impact lab production.
