Pros
Can be varied, interesting and fun. Integration of managment into daily actiivty in such a small workforce means that you have direct access. the nature of the company results in a great diverstiy of projects coming in. Commitment to pushing the boundaries of on line education is based on and fostered by a genuine belief in the transformative capabilities of new media to revolutionise the way that training and eduction can be developed to enhance both the experience of learning and the effect that it can have in the workplace. The company is good on home workign and flexible hours.
Cons
Management is completely focussed through the founding partners, and there is a reluctance or perhaps inability to effectively delegate responsiblity. This means that the middle management are not empowered in any significant way. This is frustrating for them and leads to a sense of statis that things will not change. Activity only really happens when one of the partners is involved. This also means that when their attention shifts, anything that has started stops and goes back to where it was. There are many simple problems in the way Fuel works but they seem to be insoluable. the other big downside is that the office is truly a dump and the area is rubbish.
