Pros

I worked for FreshAddress for a few years. The pay was competitive, the benefits were good and the service offerings were among the best in the industry. The management team was always supportive and it was overall a decent and friendly place to work.

Cons

Since FreshAddress merged with TowerData last fall there's been lots of employee turnover and other changes. TowerData's management approach for sales and customer service is a lot different than before, and not in a good way.

FreshAddress Response

Our philosophy in building FreshAddress was that our employees were all part of our team, driven to build the best products, provide unparalleled servicing to our clients, and work together to support one another. Our employee retention rate has always been the envy of our industry, with most employees having tenure for 5 to 15+ years while continuing to share their vast experience and expertise with our clients. As with most mergers, there are redundant roles that need to be weeded out along with a melding of the two companies' cultures. While there have been a few employee turnovers since the merger, the bulk of our team and TowerData's team has remained in place, enabling a seamless transition for our clients. Now that we are three months post-merger, transition turnover should now be behind us and we're looking to add a number of people to our roster.

Pros

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. In-depth and well executed on-boarding process. The sales team definitely is a teamwork environment, not each to their own. Great incentives that include wins for all. Strong products that are well supported. PE backed allowing great growth potential.

Cons

Wish some of back-end processes were more updated

Pros

No office drama, people are there to work and do a great job. Most have families and seem to have a great work/life balance without compromising the quality of the company's service/products. President is really on top of every aspect of the company without micromanaging, he trusts in the knowledge of the people the company has hired and that is HUGE. Benefits are crazy good for a small but growing company. There are some employees that have been there for 10+ years that are actively trying to improve services and products instead of simply maintaining (which many tech companies fall into). Most of all I feel respected and appreciated which no salary can buy, I truly enjoy coming into work each day.

Cons

The building seems to be getting a little too small with all the new hires. People in tech may find it strange that there isn't a culture of staying late and ordering pizza to finish a project, but this is way healthier.
