Pros
Good salary, especially since the cost of living is much lower in Beijing. The onboarding service was really good for me, since it was my first time working abroad. EF guided me throughout the whole process: getting an apartment, setting up a bank account, getting around the city, etc. The job itself is fairly straightforward, you teach with a ready PPT lesson, so the actual lesson planning time is quicker. I taught adults, and the students were generally very kind, respectful, and interesting. It's a god job.
Cons
The hours are annoying sometimes. I work from around 12-8:30 or 9:30 during the workweek, and until 5:30 or 6:30 on weekends. You likely will not get weekends off, and the late start and finish makes it difficult to have time to yourself during the days you're working.
