I worked at EF Education First

    Pros

Fellow teachers, lovely students and possibly the chance to learn new skills, like leadership, organisation, etc.

    Cons

The Senior staff were disorganised and condescending to the teachers. The student welfare coordinator was not qualified for their job, and it was well known to the teachers that there were inappropriate relationships going on at the managerial level. Many promises were broken about my contract, as well as a good many other things with the other teachers. The centre was understaffed, under resourced, and very... profit driven. This made my job as a teacher a lot more difficult than it needed to be.

    Advice to Management

Please keep your promises about contract renewal. Hire experienced people for the jobs, be more organised for the students sake. Don't place misleading job adverts, and then tell us what our actual responsibilities are once we're hired.
