Pros
You can see how your work affects the company directly. The leadership here is always recognizing extra efforts and continuously lets us know the opportunities that are ahead. I have to mention the amazing perks - which only get better with each year I work here. As great as it is to have a bar and an open lounge to socialize with team members, the extracurricular activities are really what makes this place fun and exciting to come to every day. We have biweekly soccer games, weekly bootcamp sessions, happy hours, karaoke nights, and at least one culture event outside of work a month. It really encourages bonding outside of your own team.
Cons
While it is not every single day - there is a lot of pressure put on team members. With a growing company comes larger opportunities - and more work gets piled on team members. Some more respect for people's time would be appreciated when it comes to overloading members with work that causes late nights and full work weekends. There is also an open work policy here - flex hours. You come in the morning (whether it be 8am or 10am) and then leave when your work for the day is done. While the leadership team does support this - I know I feel guilty and feel as I am being looked down upon if I did take advantage of this and left early.
