I worked at Constellation Brands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good benefits Nice office WFH policy In office bar/happy hour Fitness center (Chicago office)

    Cons

Developmental opportunities Constant reorganization Growth Opportunities Bureaucratic policies Very difficult to negotiate $$$ Lack of direction Throwing 50 darts and hoping 1 lands like a Corona brand

    Advice to Management

Stop spending so much, stop cycling talent in and out of top positions, improve employee morale, invest in your talent, and present a clear roadmap for employees to know where the company will be 5 years from now, let alone 1 year. Require mandatory 1 on 1 meetings with managers weekly/bi-weekly (no opportunities for feedback otherwise). Very cliquey environment and very dog eat dog atmosphere that needs to be changed.

I worked at Constellation Brands full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good brands, generous employee stock plan.

    Cons

Terrible culture of leaders who reward tenure over talent during reorgs and are left with people who are not the best in the business. People fail upward into roles and manager all have their own people to take care of instead of trying to attract and retain the best talent.

    Advice to Management

You don't have the right people in place, but it doesn't really matter if the plan is just to sell off every brand that those people mismanage. Constellation is in big trouble when Modelo starts to face the same industry pressures of the rest of the industry.
