Pros
- Having half a day every week to scale up your expertise (AI focus, engineering learnings, cross-team work, etc..) - Almost no firefighting, Peak loads are predictable, and so far no big failures since I joined. No pager will wake up in the middle of the night - The direct managers are great. Mine is pretty capable and knows her craft well, coming with a lot of experience. She is passionate about work, listens to feedback, and asks frequently for feedback as well. - Good benefits like being fully remote (While still having an office as optional if needed), learning budget, ESOP, paying for your Wi-Fi, gym, home office, and even haircut reimbursements! - Good ,knowledgeable colleagues, always up for discussion, pairing, and feedback - A massive base of experienced pentesters who are also part of the core team. - Cool products and up-to-date technologies in most projects
Cons
- A cybersecurity background is not mandatory, but there will be a learning curve when learning the abbreviations, how things connect, etc. - Working remotely can be challenging at first if you are not used to it
