Pros

Nice People. Good Pay. Location was convenient. And they extended my contract, allowing me to work remote for the days I had conflicts while still doing my job.

Cons

They need more Admin Support, not less. But like many industries today, that only want to allot funds for people who bring in Capital (MDs, etc), and don’t mind adding a few more people to support to an admin with an full roster. Also… I missed the window for hiring at another job because they said they were going to keep me on permanently in another role. But then they decided to cancel the creation of that support position, and instead invest in AI to finish the job.

Pros

Many good people working here, and the work is meaningful.

Cons

Work/life balance issues are almost unheard of in this company. Long nights and weekends are normal, while pay is not commensurate. A very political environment as mentioned by others. Relationship-based promotions win out over quality of work and analytic insights and contributions.
