Pros

Good extended health benefits and guaranteed salary of 85 flying hours whether you fly or not. Extra tax free income when on duty over meal hours.

Cons

Unknown future for us beyond May 2014 as our major flying contract for Transat Holidays expires. Think about quitting your job just to work for them this winter 2013/2014.

Pros

Great short-haul flying with easy crew. Small company so it feels more like a family.

Cons

Lack communication to the employees in terms of the the company's future goals. Seasonal contract workers were laid off after the winter season with not a lot of opportunities to come back to the company.

Pros

Depending where you are based, seniority climbs fast and you can quickly choose your schedule. Been working for CanJet since 2012 and already I can choose almost 100% my schedule. I can work for 8-9 days a month and have a lot of time for myself outside of work. Health and dental benefits are very good. Pay is fair and comparable to most other airlines. Airline is very safe and training is comparable or even harder than some of the competition (even bigger airlines like Air Transat for example).

Cons

Aircrafts are slightly old and it can sometimes get frustrating having to deal with not fully functional entertainment system for example. I can also say that the future is not so predictable and it is hard to tell what will happen in 2014-2015.
