If you're thinking about going into PE via consulting, you'll want to bang on this door * Minimal travel, much better work-life balance than most other consulting firms (although this is still high-end consulting, not 9-5!) * Leadership who truly cares about developing the people; we are a family, and we stick together in good times and bad (e.g., no layoffs when Covid hit the business hard) * Best feedback culture I've ever seen (including three Fortune 500 firms) - highly structured, clear set of expectations, culture of regular feedback. * Typical small firm disadvantages - pricier health insurance, we don't have the fancy intranet sites of a Fortune 500, less name recognition (outside of Private Equity) than the "big guys" (although within PE, we've very well known) * We all work from home (when not in 2x/year firm meetings or at client sites - again, travel is minimum), which some people don't like as much, as we don't see each other in person as they might like

The culture, drive, and commitment of the entire firm is top notch; even though it isn't a partnership, it truly feels like one; BRP is a meritocracy 3. Based on the nature of the work and clients, the work load can be intense sometimes; there are ways to balance and manage, and you learn to do this over time and with good team problem solving, communication, and leadership
