Pros

If you're in the mood to be a part of a pyramid-like scheme, come on over!

Cons

I only came in for the two rounds of interviewing. Frankly, I wouldn't write a review if I didn't have a lot to say, but oh boy do I. Both interviews took place in a Production Haus, which if you aren't familiar (I was not) is basically a We Works. It was filled to the absolute brim with a bunch of people applying for a position at Be.BOLD and maybe one or two other places. I researched the company and couldn't find much on it, and the website looked a little unprofessional (bad writing, for one), but I went anyhow in the hopes that this was just a start-up trying to get its footing. The first interview was pretty brief and I wasn't able to get a good grip on what the company was about. There were promises of being able to graduate in rankings pretty quickly, autonomy, good things like that. The website claimed to advertise on a one-on-one basis or through live events. I found out in interview #2 that there really aren't any live events, and that you instead canvass. One-to-one marketing, am I right? Don't worry, because in a week's time, you can graduate on to a position where you only canvass half of the time and then otherwise manage other canvassers that you or your management hired. Then you graduate up and manage more, bring in new talent (read: canvassers). Ultimately, this is how the business works. At the end of the day, you become the brand manager of your own brand and then continue this ad infinitum. There is an emphasis on working everyone from the ground up (there is no seniority for hiring. A former CEO in theory would have the same experience as a fresh college or high school grad). This is nice in theory, but then I thought that they probably can't get a hold of any serious talent if one of the main parts of the entry-level is assaulting people with flyers or what have you. I don't know, it seemed pretty fishy to me. I consulted my college's department of employment and they agreed. Go to the interview and pursue the job if you're interested, but just know that it's probably a little wack. I'm just sad that the people I spoke to who also interviewed for the position didn't seem to notice.
