Pros
- Coworkers are pleasant for the most part - Office potlucks on occasion - Free food occasionally - Encourages you to bring ideas to the table Unfortunately this place is a really toxic enviornment so can't say many good things.
Cons
- Managers are not adequately trained, there often micromanage, belittle, are critical and don't offer constructive feedback . - Poor performers are kept on for little to no reason but they'll let you go if they feel like you don't fit into their plan . - The "no-blame" environment managers try to create is a farse - it has just cultivated a very defensive team that can't take responsibility for their actions and quietly blaming others. - Not much career growth. Learning to build skills tapers off at an early point. There's no effort to really keep employees engaged. - The CEO is not a good leader by any means. Belittles his employees and their work, and criticizes people for the smallest things. He has fostered an executive boys club and has hired on friends in directors positions with no just reason. There's a reason why they lost so much business in 2019. - Initial compensation might be good but 2% raises every year - Expect you to answer emails and phone calls outside work hours - Do not live up to the culture and values they advertise - If you aren't drinking their koolade 100% of the time, you will be considered a poor employee.
