managers usually don't talk to interns, and very hard to get hired.

I have been working at Atlas Copco full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The Atlas Copco tools are the best available which is something I like being a part of. The Medical benefits are good. Plenty of opportunity for advancement. At its core it’s a good company.

    Cons

Many members of management team are not qualified or able to do their jobs. I was asked to sign an agreement to work weekends and holidays and to come in on scheduled vacation days if needed. On a regular bases the management team has failed create a schedule (or plan for anything) I have often been required to come in for the weekend with less than a days’ notice. I work with broken equipment which creates a hazardous environment. We are discouraged from taking breaks or from utilizing vacation time.

    Advice to Management

Equip your employees with a reasonable work environment, don’t make them sit on broken chars, inhale hazardous fumes, provide good lighting, replace damaged fixtures\tooling, and provide proper PPE. Show up to meetings with customers and pay attention to the customers’ needs so you can plan for their needs and create a schedule for your employees.
