Pros

Had worked on full-time basis for around 4.5 years with Assyst, until I got a so called good offer, and moved to Blore 2 years back. Earlier, I joined Assyst as a fresher/trainee and must say, I got great mentoring by leads, not only on latest technology skillsets but soft skills also. In a short span I got plenty of opportunities to work and learn. It had helped me in my career a lot, and will always be thankful to my mentors at Assyst for pushing me and getting the best out of me. Though at times there were pressure, it was an amazing work atmosphere and great collaboration culture among the peers. Comparing back to my present company, it was truely a heaven, and I miss Assyst and my peers there. Here though the salary is almost 75%-100% more, but expenses are almost double leaving with no savings. Its almost getting to be 3 years, and have hardly got marginal hike compared to annual and interim hikes I was rewarded at Assyst with motivating promotions. Unlike Assyst, here in my current firm, there are no good mentors or person to seek career guidance from, just pressures and unrealistic deadlines and poor family life.

Cons

I moved from Assyst because of the delay in processing the promised H1 US work visa offer. Later only I came to know that, because of strickter US policies, now its too hard to get US work visa. My new company too had promised one, but they too are unable to succeed for securing even for their senior employee. Truely to be honest, looking from here, I see no major cons.
