Pros
- Brilliant minds who are not afraid to have uncomfortable discussions. - Great work environment (aesthetic) , also the marketing team is spot on!
Cons
- Unfortunately the brilliance comes from employees and a few leaders and not everyone in leadership. - Poor leadership where employees' mental health is not a key focus rather performance and KPIs. - Too much privilege given to directors/managers hence compromising on transparency & integrity. E.g when reviewing employees' performance a line manager may declare their direct report to be under-performing, in most (if not all) cases there is no actual investigation of the same. Also, if the manager does not provide support for improvement, HR will look the other way waiting on the PIP (Performance Improvement Policy) to commence and eventually lapse with the notion of being compliant. - People / HR Team watches out for their own interest and not the employees', the fate of their own employment comes 1st always!
