Pros

Lucrative if you don't mind working many hours and have thick skin/are not easily discouraged. Coworkers and management are very kind and helpful, they do their best to train, help and encourage you.

Cons

Many employees make a lot of money there but the reality is that those people either work MANY hours, have employees (unpaid trainees) booking appointments for them or are just really good at sales with experience. You are calling people trying to get them appointments to see the benefits, then hopefully they show up for the appointments, then ideally they will buy something or at least give you their family's contact info to sell to them and then after all that you still have people who's bank info fails, they fail underwriting (don't qualify due to health) or just cancel their policies so then you get a charge back on the money you got paid. So I feel like you have to overcome many obstacles to be successful here. That is why they always say activity (more work) is the key to success bcas the more people you see the more likely at least 1 will have the IDEAL circumstances needed to be a good sale. To me that ended up being more stressful than I thought it would be. The leads are recycled many times among employees so many are no longer interested or upset they get so many calls. Most of the people that started working with me have either quit already or are not making that many sales either. maybe $500-1,500 per month. This is definitely not a passive income and their ideal schedule to work is 12-9pm est mon-Fri and Sat 9-6pm EST which doesn't work for my family anymore. Also, their interview questions are scripted, as long as you are willing to pay for your training & license $200+ and are dressed at least business casual they will hire you bcas they get paid to hire ppl= if you sell policies they take a percentage, the more people that work for them, the more money the managers will make too which you can also do but its also alot harder than they make it seem.

Pros

Great pay, good consistent training, great management (I personally had a great management team, I know this can vary)

Cons

Fully Remote (this is a con for me as it took a toll on my health over the years), It is commission based which can be tough for some people. There was a noticeable amount of past clients cancelling due to an agent adding more insurance that was too expensive and often didn't properly explain that they were adding more.
