Pros
My manager was cool to work for. He was hands off but made himself available when I had questions. He hasn't sweated me on my work and said recently that he trusted us on his team and didn't feel like he needed to. Another pro is that there's a good work-life balance. I loved my work so much though that I hated taking days off.
Cons
Because I worked on a cross-functional I got to work with many people, which was great, but I felt sometimes talking to some of the male subject matter experts that they were condescending to women. I'm mentioning because on a previous assignment, my manager was a female, and I heard that her manager often talked down to her, so I'm not surprised to see she's no longer with the company. She probably left to get out of that toxic environment. So I'll say there are pockets of toxicity within the company, which is really unfortunate because AbbVie as a company is thriving. But the company like any other company is only as good as its employees.
