Pros
Was a good company before the owner's former partner split off. Income potential is good, but only for those who are part of the toxic culture and brown nose the owner.
Cons
One of the worst toxic cultures I have ever seen. Everyone is scared of management and ownership. People want out, but the mortgage industry sucks right now. Favoritism, sexism, racism, unprofessional atmosphere. Lawsuits are common water cooler talk. A lot of people dread going to work and being over-scrutinized and micro-managed. You start to feel like a telemarketer and not a professional in efforts to make money, while the few select "pets" get unequitable distribution of cherry picked leads and "laydown" appointments. The managers are mostly terrible. The branch offices are closing faster than old school shopping malls and people are quitting or getting fired as the company is downsizing because of poor leadership. Employee Agreements are forced upon employees despite no "thing of value" in return, which is illegal. Then they fire people for other reasons when they refuse to sign.
