Cons
Nothing bad here at Emma
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Emma has an amazing job environment, very talented colleagues and it works with fast changing processes.
Cons
Emma needs to improve work-life balance quality other than that I found it a great company.
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
100% freedom in your tasks, strong focus on entrepreneurship, established teamwork mechanisms help brainstorming on tasks and leverage the existing talent within the organization
Cons
operating always on bandwidth constraints, for each position C-level is looking for really talented entrepreneurial people as opposed to hiring lower profile employees for more executional tasks.

Very unprofessional leadership fostering a toxic working-environment
RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good place if you're fresh out of Uni as you can learn things yourself.
Cons
Very low expertise levels in the company, so in case one wants to become an expert in anything, they should not want to work there. Toxic backbiting environment. Extremely unprofessional and unrespectful founder. (tone of voice towards his employees) Don't expect any loyalty from the leadership team whatsoever (there are 2 or 3 exceptions). Everything that is said about the company culture is a joke and leadership plays by it's own rules. The only ones that actually live the culture is HR (which is easy, because they don't have to sell mattresses for the founders). I have seen more people leave crying and being fired for no valid reasons whatsoever, than even in some 3rd world country companies. There is a lot of badmouting of people in management circles The company founders have lied to me personally multiple times and broken promises multiple times and also have multiple times damaged the good nature of employer/employee relationships. I have also heard this from other directors. It's normal for C-levels to throw colleagues under the bus to cover themselves (I have witnessed this on multiple occasions)
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Perfect opportunity for fresh graduates and for those who are willing to constantly learn something new about their profession and contribute in the process Friendly and professional working atmosphere with a flat hierarchy and respect among the teammates; Feedback meetings which help you identify your weaknesses and develop yourself; Ownership and responsibility of your tasks/projects;
Cons
Work-life balance can be difficult to keep during closings, but you are not alone

Cons
Too early to have experienced any so far

Hey, thanks a lot for your positive review. Here's to a great time together! Anna
- Current Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
- The learning curve is very steep - It’s not just possible but very much encouraged to be entrepreneurial and change things (quite different from what I have seen/heard from most corporate environments) - The team is young and passionate and cares about what they do - Days are not predictable = days are not boring! Extreme growth requires high degree of flexibility
Cons
Not for people who are looking for a routine-heavy 9-5 job

Pros
At the interview you already get an understanding, how the company is operating and it's culture. Very dynamic company with enthusiastic employees. It doesn't feel you been hired to do a certain job, it feels you are shaping\contributing to the companies future. Even after starting the job in the Corona crises - the care and information we been receiving from the company is brilliant. Glad I made the move from UK to Germany even in this difficult time.
Cons
I think the downside of this fast moving company is that employees are leaving the companies within 2 years time And if you want a routine work load I have to disappoint you. Here is always Action ;-) meaning you have to quickly adapt to changes
