I am scared and shocked to hear about the problems in the training academy. Rumors from colleagues are saying the manager nominated another manager to take his/ her place because of their liking and that there was no job advertisement. Once the training staff told HR, the manager retaliated and started ignoring the person even more. The manager is also spreading rumors that it is based on personal issue that the person resigned when we know the person left the toxic workplace and toxic manager. As a newcomer, I am scared the same thing will happen to me. The person was such a good mentor and a kind soul, cared about educating and training, explained very well too.

Pros
What I like best in EV company culture are my colleagues and the work flexibility EV provides. We can work 3 months abroad per year, can have home office contracts or office contracts (with complete flexibility on when to come to the office). Our team is always very international and has a lot to share. Great afterwork culture. I like my job, there are always options to work on different projects and learn from others
Cons
Ecovadis is in a hypergrowth phase which means that internal processes can be chaotic at times and that people might suddenly have lots of work to do. The turnover in account management is big, so always new colleagues to onboard.
