I worked at Diligenta full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I got to decorate my desk however i wanted

    Cons

everything else in its entirety. It might seem dramatic to say this place made me suicidal, but scarily this is not false. the management drove me into a downward spiral, i absolutely lost my mind constantly worrying. Managers were AWFUL for talking about you when you could quite clearly hear them, i sat next to my team manager and they would 'whisper' about me but i could hear everything..they would stare at you whilst whispering it was almost comical how obvious it was!why they couldnt just go in the meeting room and discuss it I don't know. the micro managment is awful, and not to mention everyone youre supposed to go to for help makes you feel so incredibly stupid for asking, and they all have different answers to each other, but then it's your fault that you get it wrong??? the training is dire and boring, you either get it or if you don't then sorry bye...and one of the biggest things i noticed was there is NEVER any positive reinforcement, plenty of telling you what you did wrong but never any positive. if you did want positive reinforcement you had to email it in yourself???? i cant believe I lasted there for as long as i did. I left in October and haven't had a job since because they put me off for life working for a big company full time.Basically this job ruined my mental health, I would go home everyday thinking I was so stupid and incompetent i didn't see the point in living anymore. the day they ended my probation was the best day ever. Oh and also id just like to note the blatant racism that happened, and the 'lad' behaviour. It was so awkward and disgusting and I wish i recorded it on my phone.

I have been working at Diligenta full-time

    Pros

    Only pro is going home

    Cons

EVERYTHING Micro management is in full force, with that the managers and team supervisors are pedantic and condescending. They treat you like a incompetent child, not to mention they literally they whisper and shoot you dirty looks. They do not care about the teams at all. upper management is so entitled, only cares about manager mates and the many holidays and constantly gossips about the the teams. They do not care about mental health or any other serious issues, this place is killing me I'm on antidepressants because of this place. Supervisors and managers who think they are "lads" constant bullying and disgusting sexism and racist remarks not to mention the verbal sexual abuse. Which I've been recording and taking further. Oh when the management overhears this they just ignore it or laugh it off silently peering over their monitor. The way they have treated people within this pandemic is just disgusting. Management lie and then pass the blame, HR are useless. Salary is extremely poor, no real over time is earned you only get lieu time which isn't paid or added on to holiday it's an awful system They fight against you constantly, if you have an drs appointment good luck in trying to get the time off for it. The constant heavy pressure on AHT rather than quality and decency of calls. You get no apology if you prove them wrong. Favouritism is a major issue, newer people have been given more opportunities and than I have and I've been there much longer. Training I had was the worst I've ever had. There are ZERO PERKS. I cannot wait to escape and get this place exposed for the awful place it is. I have already got a collection of statements from people (current and former employees) who all have similar experiences or worse and this is being taken to the local media and to a family solicitor do not let them threaten you if you want to stand up. the contract is not stopping me going to the media. I won't be silenced, DO NOT WORK HERE.

I worked at Diligenta full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Put out enough pressure and eventually upper management will listen

    Cons

Driven by an ethos of cost cutting they will reduce benefits and working conditions to force out expensive staff that have been TUPE'd to be replaced with cheap resource
