Hard work is noticed and rewarded sometimes however that depends on manager and luck. Some smart and dedicated people but they are in the minority. Good experience, exposure to interesting deals, and other teams. 35 hour work week, good annual leave, possibility to work from home
Cons
Favouritism, preferential treatment, cliquey. Backstabbing, rumours and slander are tolerated. Significant amount of managers engage in this too. Hierarchical, title and visibility are everything. Too many 'managers' but no one wants to take ownership and make decisions. High turnover among permanent staff, takes ages to hire people. Too many contractors. No sense of security due to redundancies. Below average pay. Office is in the middle of nowhere, no parking. Not allowed to carry over holiday to next year

the only pro is being able to work from home the very odd time. salary is ok. team mates are nice good pension is you are 30 or associate level
Cons
Manages are useless, senior management feed us bull regardless of the facts in the news, bad atmosphere, location couldn't be worse, hr and managers have no ppl skills. a serious amount of staff are leaving and management do nothing to stop. pension only kicks in at 30 or associate level and nothing before

Pros
Generous benefits and leave time. Decent pay if you are coming in off the street. COVID work from home is nice which may be the future. Even when in the office, lunches, breaks, and clock-in/clock-outs are not micromanaged unless you abuse them.
Cons
Promotions are political, only once a year, and you are often passed over. You are expected to perform the role of your promotion without its pay while you compete to be promoted. Often times, despite your efforts, you are passed over. Better luck next year. In middle and back office, annual pay increase is weak, so you may likely not get paid what the new hire you train gets paid.

Pros
Work from home, generous leaves
Cons
Old, no clear direction. No innovation at all
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
Good pay, good hours, opportunities to work from home.
Cons
Poor communication, unclear policies, disconnects between teams within the same department (makers and outreach), innadequate training, lofty expectations. Each case is handled differently by each maker, checker, and AFC. Arguing between outreach, makers, checkers & afc as to why documentation is/isn't adequate or what is / isnt acceptable documentation can waste days or weeks of productivity. Almost no structure in how to handle, investigate, and conduct due dilligence on cases. You're essentially thrown new clients and told "go do this" with little to no guidance.
