Manages are useless, senior management feed us bull regardless of the facts in the news, bad atmosphere, location couldn't be worse, hr and managers have no ppl skills. a serious amount of staff are leaving and management do nothing to stop. pension only kicks in at 30 or associate level and nothing before

Toxic work environment - HR
14 Nov 2021 - Senior Analyst - Human ResourcesRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
None at all, was a bad. (Analyst and associate level workers had a decent work environment but senior management made work life very stressful to the extent of people leaving and going on sick leave)
Cons
Toxic work environment. Very unhealthy. Management knew the workload was not shared out evenly and did nothing about it. Management do nothing to change the never ending workload. Working 12+ hrs (overtime) to get through daily work and no recognition. Work non-stop but couldnt even get half a day off. No work life balance A lot of people leave and go on sick leave due to stress which makes workload even worse.

Good work/life balance but choose another bank if you are junior.
8 Jul 2021 - Associate in London, EnglandRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Work/life balance is better than peers. Diverse workforce.
Cons
Base salary for junior staff is on par with the market when joining however increasingly lags behind the market each year. Forget about bonus. Unfortunately losing a lot of talent to competitors. Way too much bureaucracy. Senior management talk about a lot over the past 5+ years but the evidence is yet to be seen.
