Pathetic company for anyone who is coming from any ( I repeat any) MNC. I did a blunder by joining this organization.
Pros
Location but that's about it. But for your sake don't fall into this trap. Your pain of travelling to gurgaon or noida is not as bad as frustration that u will face here.
Cons
Almost everything. Let me explain very slowly. Job security, being a semi government company it shouldn't be the case but it is. I have seen people getting fired at all the levels (they had 6-7 heads in IT department in 10 years of there existence) regular firing happens at all levels. And as of now they have no future and Delhi government might shut then off anytimem Appraisal and hike process: Oh! This one is spectacular. Appraisal letter tells you about three things a. Your hike for next year. b. Variable amount that you are going to get. c. Your performance ratings. First of do not expect much hike or variable average hikes are in range of 5-7% and variable amount is 25-40% of your variable component ( btw variable component is 20% of your fixed CTC so effectively you are going to get 5-7 % don't be fooled by 20% it is just a mirrage) . And don't expect that your appraisal will be related to your performance ratings. Promotions are few and far between. Now comes interesting parts So the process is supposed to be from April to March. But you will get to know your appraisal only by say October end or November start. Which means your variable amount is delayed by atleast 6 months along with arears of 6 months. Now the catch is even if you resign after getting your letter but before actual amount transfer you will be screwed and your arears along with previous years variable will be clawed back. So effectively no matter when you leave you will have to let go variable component of 6-18 months. Senior management is rude and rash. They are bunch of losers with sore ego. They don't have any knowledge whatsoever. Leave technical knowledge, they don't even have common sense. Policies : Apart from high number leaves expect worst policy and beurocratic workflows to get anything approved is so pathetic that you wouldn't even try and you will leave things like overtime etc My advice to you is that if you are working in ANY IT MNC then DO NOT join this company. I did the same mistake and thankfully I was able to correct it within a year but you might not be that lucky.
