Great culture and love working with such a great group of people
15 Jun 2021 - Anonymous Employee in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Loads of training providers, a broad range of benefits. Lots of offerings on the wellbeing side and have really put so much effort into ensuring that there is something for everybody in the last 15 months of the pandemic. I work with a great team of professionals, our culture is welcoming, supportive and a place where you can truly be yourself.
Cons
None to note at this time

Great team, superb training, great flexibility.
Cons
There is no automatic pay rise given with promotion. Wages are well below the current market value. Staff need to feel appreciated.

Great team and leadership, client office is incredible, incredibly supportive during WFH, better salary than competitors, training and career development opportunities, genuine meritocracy - no need to schmooze with managers to get ahead if your work is solid.
Cons
No sick pay or pension scheme.

Endless opportunities if you want to develop your Recruitment career.
21 Sep 2017 - Senior Consultant in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I have over 6 years recruitment experience and have been in CPL for over 2 years. Having worked in another agency I can say that the opportunities and flexibility within CPL are second to none. Pros include working with a very large client base, access to endless networking events, excellent commission structure, great team spirit, good fun, autonomy, not expected to sit at your desk past 7pm, support from Director level with developing your desk, great social side.
Cons
As with any agency you are expected to work hard. But with that you reap the rewards.

Cpl has allowed me to work part-time and gain valuable experience across a range of sectors
5 Sep 2017 - Anonymous Employee in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
1) Great team spirit 2) Interesting and challenging work 3) Training that is made available to everybody 4) Always seeking ways to improve the experience of employees 5) Open door policy with our CEO 6) Opportunity to work with some fantastic clients 6) Fun but you are expected to work hard
Cons
1) Improve our technology 2) Recruitment is not for everybody, its a sales job with a huge people focus and interaction - people should be mindful of that when considering a career in recruitment, but you will get training and coaching in Cpl

Unrivalled opportunity to succeed
25 Sep 2014 - Anonymous Employee in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great team spirit within the business, amazing leaders who let you set the bar as high as you like, always given a challenge, fully supported in every way possible! Senior staff are all very approachable. Great competitions run throughout the business for high achievers such as trips to NYC / Spain etc which are a great bonus incentive!
Cons
Remuneration benefits aren't astounding, but the opportunity to earn outweighs this in my opinion. The parking in the area is very expensive and there isn't a staff car park, so you're probably best with public transport.

Community Operation Analyst
1 Mar 2018 - Community Operations Analyst in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great Team Lead, food is excellent (free cantine, lunch and breakfast and well as micro-kitchens stocked with snacks, tea, coffee and drinks) Friendly and vibrant work place Hourly pay rate so generally never the need to stay back late to finish work
Cons
Impartiality when it comes to promotions and career progression, cronyism seen in some teams more so than others Issues with payroll, errors not resolved promptly, often re compensated for missing pay in the following month Unreasonable standards of quality and performance, job security hinges on very difficult metrics to attain

Great experience
15 Jun 2017 - Recruitment Consultant in Dublin, DublinRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great team environment in the Languages division. Healthy competition but there is always a sense that you have your colleagues to help you out. You get to work with big names in the industry. Management assists you with whichever pathway you want to grow your career. Your team leader is very flexible and easy to approach.
Cons
The physical office needs refurbishment. One manager might not be the easiest to deal with.
