I worked at Compugen (Canada) for more than a year

    Pros

As I don't work for agency. I worked through them. I don't have much to say it here. I believe some of people I dealt with they work form home.

    Cons

    - Delay in response to emails. (this is due to they working from different office East, West Canada) - Disconnected between employees I was dealing with. I sent email to someone with info and the other employee doesn't know where we are standing. - As consultant YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL about your rate. They cut huge margin from the candidates by lowering the rate range and charge higher rate for client. Always negotiate and ask above the range they provided you. Some of margins you expected around 35% to minimum of 20%. you wont see it until you know how much they are charging the client. Overall all unprofessional and lazy. I would NOT recommended this agent to anyone either company or worker, and if you are consultant working through them. Try to negotiate your rate and ask for more $$$. If you are a client and want to use this agency anyway. My advise to you - Ask them how much they will pay the consultant you will hire. You can save your money as they charge you for high rate and pay less for consultant. - Asked them to filter and do a test for those consultants before they referring them to you. They were posting ads on public job site very low quality of consultants using it (I don't mention names here) and send consultants in bulk to clients I dealt with, the hiring managers in those companies there were seeing very bad candidates and not really fit most of the requirements.
