      Cons

-Lots of growing pains. Lots of strategic changes happening from leadership resulting in reorganization. With that being said, I believe Compassion's best days are ahead of us. This reorg is needed to get us there.

Great Organization with Some Improvement Needed

      Pros

Compassion is a great, Christian organization to work for with great benefits and a deep commitment to family.

      Cons

This organization has grown so much, so fast, that they are playing catch-up with innovation, technology, and structural changes. This can be frustrating at points in certain teams as you try and keep up with the times while working in outdated systems and processes.

      Pros

Strong Christian values, meaningful work, excellent facilities and benefits, opportunities to work with international staff, improving infrastructure, management is typically interested in staff as people and works to lead them and develop them well

      Cons

Some problems with bureaucracy, lack of international staff at headquarters and in decision-making positions, lack of diversity in senior management, tendency to take on more projects than can be accomplished at one time

Great Place to Live Out Your Faith at Work

Jul 25, 2016 - Marketing in Colorado Springs, CO

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Everyone works toward the same goal, which is releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. Compassion does what it says it will do. Children are receiving valuable benefits due to their participation in the program. Many lives are being changed in a positive way. Great Christian culture. Frequent chapels, opportunities to pray with co-workers, etc.. Fantastic benefits (paid time off, health insurance, etc.)

      Cons

Growing pains due to rapid acceleration from child sponsorship acquisitions. This is during a time when most of Compassion's peers in the industry are seeing a decrease or no growth. A massive internal project to replace outdated internal customer management solution is taking too long and diverting attention away from projects that need resources.
