    Pros

    -Flexible hours and schedule swaps -Family environment -Learn ALOT about skincare and skin typing -AMAZING gratis and opportunities to get gratis -People usually know what they want or about Clinique so you just have to add on.

    Cons

    -There is no organization especially within management -Our corporate higher up doesn’t respect the management team or the consultants - Corporate higher up would make promises she couldn’t keep

    Advice to Management

    Management needs to learn how to take control of the team. Just because someone has been there for years or makes the most in sales doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be held accountable for their actions. Also, management needs to have the consultants and other managers’ backs. There’s no loyalty.

    Pros

    Full-time and decent hourly wage. Good to gain experience.

    Cons

    No gratis even though you're supposed to get gratis. No training besides videos and 4 phone calls. Little support, you have to teach yourself. Great to get experience but I hope I work for a better brand down the line that values their employees.

    Advice to Management

    Consultants shouldn't be doing the shipments, takes over 2 hours, 2 hours that they could've been selling. Consultants should receive gratis if they're expected to know how to use the products and sell them.

    Nobody controls the managers. They are really rude to employees and easily take their sales and benefits.

    The company should control managers' job (sells, commissions, shifts,...)

    -Great brand that makes trusted products -Gratis / ELC discounts

    Cons

    -Senior leadership cannot make decisions at milestone moments in the GTM process slowing down all project progression. -And senior leaders make bad decisions. -The organization is siloed and not integrated at all. -The amount of employees on one team is not balanced in the rest of the organization. -Micromanagers run the place. They even want to read your emails. -Middle management is not appreciated and they... are the one’s doing all the work while senior leaders just give unclear direction, attend meetings all day long and present the managers work in those said meetings. -Old school working environment and everyone dresses business casual. Don’t expect to be yourself at work. -Outdated office from the 80’s. -There is zero culture in this brand with no sense of team mentality. -Employee turnover is high. More than 15+ people have left in the past year.

    Advice to Management

    Ask middle management what they think of the organization. Get rid of senior leaders who do not move the needle and create a toxic work environment. Listen to your employees who actually do the work and do not penalize them for it. Create a team culture with quarterly off-sites that celebrate team wins. Notify all employees in how the business needs to improve with truthful information. Be willing to take risks in... marketing the brand a different way.
