Pros

The onboarding process gives a good overview of the company. I felt as if I had enough time to properly settle in. The work is challenging in a positive sense. I'm learning new things even after many years in the industry. No micromanaging - I'm trusted to do the work without constant oversight.

Cons

Still a standard weekday working schedule, although there is room for slight adjustments.

Pros

Remote first and fun tasks

Cons

Company owners and top management are a joke. A bunch of SEO guys who accidentally ended up running a big company with zero management skills. Most decisions aren’t data-driven, influenced by mood and sometimes just make no sense. Whole departments get laid off on a whim without any explanation. Don’t waste your time — they’ll get rid of you anyway.

Pros

- If you are in a good team working on a site that's doing well, the experience will be mostly positive. However, it really is luck of the draw and working experiences vary across the company. - There are a few nice perks, eg Deliveroo allowance on Fridays, Vitality health care. - Good for people who enjoy WFH with very few calls or involvement in a company. - Flexible working hours.

Cons

- No progression plans or focus on individual development. I didn't feel like I was growing or working towards any goals. - Strange and aggressive comms on Slack sometimes from senior leadership. - You don't really know who owns the company, what sites they own, how well the company is doing as a whole or what the plans are for the future as you are very much confined to your team/website. You basically get given tasks to work on and hear any updates/changes (of which there are many) from your manager, Not a con for some but I would have preferred to take more ownership of what I was doing. - Big focus on clickouts and money, rather than the user experience.
