As the owner of Click Convert, I sincerely thank everyone for their reviews. I take many of the points raised to heart, understanding that running an agency like ours is both challenging and demanding. Concerns about leadership have been noted, and I acknowledge that our direction took an unfortunate turn. When a member of our senior management team was diagnosed with cancer, I prioritized supporting him, which significantly altered our course for nearly a year. During this time, I relied heavily on our managers and team leaders, but unfortunately, they did not meet our expectations in team building and customer focus. As a result, these individuals have since departed. While I valued our time together, the results were often disappointing. We have now welcomed a new generation of more talented individuals, bringing fresh energy and expertise to Click Convert. Reviewers often misunderstand that agencies are not solely created to employ staff; they exist to generate value for our clients, which in turn sustains the business and our team. Without clients, there is no business. Some negative reviewers fail to recognize the opportunity Click Convert provided—a door into this industry that others did not open to them. We foolish took a risk in these people. We believed in their potential, investing time and resources to train them to high standards and help build their careers. It’s disappointing to see some respond with spiteful, even narcissistic, comments that only serve to damage the company and the opportunities available to others. The biggest lesson for us is the need for more rigorous recruitment processes to better identify unprofessional, negative, and corrosive individuals who don’t align with our values. Some reviews are so brief and lacking in creativity that they rely on baseless claims, including accusations of discrimination. Ironically, some even display ageist bias while criticizing alleged discrimination. At Click Convert, we value creativity, integrity, and open-mindedness—qualities essential in this industry and in the collaborative culture we work hard to build. Our ultimate focus is on meeting customer needs, which is sometimes overlooked by staff. As we integrate AI into our operations, the reliance on staff will decrease. Our goal is to create the perfect repeatable week in marketing for our clients, meeting their goals within agreed budgets and timelines, which requires dedicated and driven staff. Click Convert is unique in its commitment to hiring and developing recent graduates, pushing them to find their limits and see how great they can become as digital marketing experts. Most agencies prefer experienced hires, often headhunting our alumni, which naturally creates challenges but also highlights the strength of our training and development programs. By the time someone leaves, they may have been influenced by their new employer to view their previous work negatively. However, agencies recognize that we provide excellent training and attract the best talent—why else would they seek Click Convert alumni? This hopefully sheds light on some of the reviews. If we were so bad, why did employees stay with us for years and continue to engage with the current team? Click Convert boasts a young, vibrant culture where all beliefs and preferences are respected, but we challenge our employees to push their boundaries. This is a business of open minds who enjoy life and strive for excellence. Some reviews criticize us for hosting BBQs or pizza events monthly—if taking an afternoon off to eat or play table tennis is an issue, that might be a personal concern. Our culture may not suit everyone, but it's integral to who we are.
