Pros
The good thing's about Canteen Phoenixville is that the company actually pays well but not well enough and they also have great benefits.
Cons
Working at the Canteen Phoenixville branch was hell. when I first got the job I was excited that I was able to produce more money for myself. training at the Canteen Phoenixville branch was the best time I had there. until I found out I had to have training paperwork signed and no one told me or gave me any knowledge that I have to have it signed and completed. Before then, I have been trained in the worst way because I was tossed around like I was A helper. I had a filling that this wasn't the proper way of training but I went with my gut and hang in there a little longer. This was only for the first two months. In the course of 3 months of training, I went through 4 trainers. At this branch they have dirty disgusting trucks and workers that you have to clean up after to work in a healthy environment for yourself. If you're lucky enough you'll get a truck that's left behind from a route driver that cares about his/her surroundings. Which is very unlikely because most of their employees that works there hates their job anyway. They're model is; "I don't want to be here" so they do whatever they got to do to get home fast and soon you will feel the same way. They really doesn't care about the trucks when it comes down to it. Would you? When it comes down to management this branch is the worse! They do not know what they are doing and they cannot keep up with the problems that the route has in the first place. The frequent problems that you will run into are dexing/ syncing issues with the machine, opening and closing the Machine, problems with the customers, loading your truck (you're not getting paid for it), not getting enough sleep, management breathing down your neck, lifting and pulling up stairs, not having access to the buildings you have to serve, product getting stuck, machine is not getting or having enough change in them (you're not getting paid for it), changing Bill changers (you're not getting paid for it), problems with old handhelds, you got to do 25 to 30 machines a day, in order to get a day off they have to have someone to run your route, carry a large amount of sodas and snack and food on a corny handcart, and last but not least working 12 to16 hours a day. ( The Matrix analogy) Are you ready to go down the rabbit hole? Are you ready to take The red pill or The blue pill?
