  10. "Limited opportunities, not for senior employees to grow/develop the career ..."

I worked at CPL Resources full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Free lunches (however the selection and the quality of that service dropped since the move from The Beckett to Sandyford) - Wellness time on request - A good introduction into a social media world (career-wise).

    Cons

    - Location (Sandyford) - No specialized roles, just a bottom-level of the processes. Very limited opportunities (mostly, only around work and workforce management). - No distinction among the teams in terms of the job title. Hundreds of employees share the same title despite working on different teams and projects. This is quite problematic when it comes to external job search and breaking through the (huge) competition coming from vendor and outsourced employees of FB and Google in Dublin. - No senior roles. If someone becomes an auditor and is minimum 1.5 year in a role, they should be given a senior -job title to their contract. - Frequent micro-management and call centre atmosphere due to internal system's code usage requirements. A feeling of being just a number. - Too much bad hires (culture) which is reflected in constant issues with maintaining a clean and tidy places of a common use (micro-kitchens, toilets, snacks). - Removal of a double validation process - too many auditors are people who have never should be doing the quality audits. I won 90% of all my double validations. Now, most of such disputes with the auditors having the last word will be against reps = skewed quality metrics for CPL indicating that reps need training. All these reasons (and a few more) lead to massive departures from this company. TikTok absorved a lot of the staff but what's most important, 90% of the CPL-at-FB staff is actively looking for a job in social media companies which is reflected in crazy high number of job applicants every time the opening becomes available at FB, Google, Twitter, TikTok (Linkedin data). Pleole want to belong to the social media company, to the brand ..not to "Covalen". The more they will push people on promoting "Colaven" style/brand..the more people will be eager to leave. The number of overqualified people from CPL/Covalen who went to TikTok for more enry-level roles only proves it. - Too much politics and red tape
